It’s taken me a couple of days to digest the meal that
we had on Saturday (not literally). I’ve been a pretty
consistent reader of both StudioKitchen and IdeasInFood
and I owe a pretty large part of my understanding of new
techniques and ingredients from both of these incredible
sources of information.

Venice – Vini da Gigio
We arrived to Venice in a hurry. Everything really was a blur.
The vaporetto left us on one corner of the island that I’m
guessing houses some of the “residents” of the city. After
some back alleys and shady bridges we arrived at our 5 star

Tacna In my honest [...]

gastronomy has had a tough time being considered a real
movement because of the use of chemicals and gimmicks used
to make the meal more interesting. These naysayers consider
this [...]

Excellence v.Pizza
I believe that everyone needs excellence in their lives.
Rolls Royce, Patek Philippe, Pavarotti.
Unfortunately, I didn’t invest in Google.
luckily there are other options. This time its pizza. Every real
New Yorker has an opinion on what is the premier pizza in the
tri-state area. This weekend I had a chance to visit two of [...]
